Mrs. Mary Rose Fearon, 83, of Springfield died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital.

She was born in County Cork, Ireland, on Jan. 21, 1907, the daughter of John and Nora Harrington Driscoll. She married Thomas Fearon in 1028 and he preceded her in death in 1957. She also was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters and one grandson.

A resident of Springfield since 1957, Mrs. Fearon was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Fenton (Mary Theresa) Drake of Springfield; eight grandchildren; two great-grandsons; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Corr of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Thomas (Helena) O'Brien of County Kerry, Ireland, and Mrs. William (Theresa) Pheasant of London, England; several nieces, nephews and cousin.

Funeral Mass: Blessed Sacrament Church, Hugh Cassidy officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
