The fourth January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty two, after the publication of three banns of marriage, without impediment or opposition, we the undersigned priest duly authorized, having received the mutual consent of Denis McMullin, laborer, domiciliated in this parish, son of age of deceased Patrick McMullin, and of Catharine Singleton, of the County of Monaghan, in Ireland, of the one part, and of May McCarthy, domiciliated in this parish, daughter of age of deceased Terence[?] McCarthy, and of Mary Roche, of the County of Kerry in Ireland of the other part, have married them according to the laws and rite of the Holy Catholic Church in presence of Pierre Belanger, and of James Foley, who have signed; the bridegroom and bride declared they could not sign.
