"her father, named on the marriage certificate, was Lawrence [Laurence] White. This address is a puzzle because the 1830 Tithes list and the 1864 Griffith's Valuation do not show any White family in Ballymagart. Laurence White was tenant at No. 29 Tullyframe with about 7.5 acres. Both of these Whites farms were later taken over by [Rosie's husband] Thomas McVeigh"
