Narrative

The Genealogy of the Gillson and Jillson Family says about Daniel: His father gave him a deed of gift of the south part of the homestead, where he resided through life. During the Revolutionary war he was engaged (with an ox team) in the transportation f munitions of war and merchandise between Boston and Providence, New York, and other places. He gave his son Daniel, a deed of gift of the homestead, dated April 8, 1786, Daniel giving his father and mother a life lease of the same.
His sceond marriage was July 18, 1765, to Mrs. Mehetable Cooper, relict of Dean Samuel Cooper, of Rehoboth.
