Was Rose from Co. Tyrone? Her daughter in law Alice (Haughey) McKenney received letters from her father in Co. Armagh. In a letter dated Feb 8, 1889, he invited Rose to visit them in Armagh and said he wouldn't mind if she went to visit friends in Tyrone while she was there.
