Event Note
Griffith's Valuation Richard held this land until his death. The Valuation Revision Books for Lisnacree show the land going to his representatives as of 1880, then to Patrick Rourke in 1882. Patrick was the second husband of Richard's daughter Elizabeth (Quinn) Grant. They married in 1879. The land then went to Elizabeth herself as of 1892, then to her son, Richard Grant as of 1898. (Elizabeth died in 1897). Richard Grant's will left the farm to his full and half siblings, in equal parts. Most, if not all of them, were in Cleveland, Ohio, by that time. The land actually passed into the hands of a Patrick Cunningham as of 1906. |
