Katherine may or may not have been the daughter of Patrick/Peter Howard and Margaret Powers. Katherine is only found on the 1910 Census with her parents, already married to William Griffin/Griffith. Their marriage record wasn't in the index, Katherine (Howard) wasn't found on the 1900 Census, and the Griffins/Griffiths are not on the 1920 Census or in the death notices, so there is no other evidence that she was an actual member of the family. On the other hand, Margaret Powers said she had either 4 or 5 children (depending on the census), so Katherine might be the fifth child.
