Thomas' age on the 1860 census looks like a 9, but he is listed after his sister Sarah, age 5. In 1870 their ages are Thomas 10, and Sarah 14. For the time being, I am assuming Thomas' age on the 1860 census is incorrect and he was born about 1858 or 1859.
