Narrative

James Richard married Charlotte Roberts 12 May 1902 in
Linfyillin, Montgomery Co., Wales. Norma (Hughes) Kennedy
said he had six children before his brother William left for the
United States. Family recollection says he had red hair.

James and Charlotte appear to be in Atcham, Shropshire in 1911.
There are a James and Charlotte on the 1911 Census index who
match their birthdates. There is also a Harold who could be
their son.

One son, [M. or W.] J. Hughes, was the informant on James' death
record. Jennifer Tyler has corresponded by e-mail with Liz
Proudman, a great-grand daughter of James Richard. She was living
in England in 2004/2005, and has posted some of her family tree
at rootsweb.com
