Narrative

There are listings for Charles V. Page in the Bangor City Directories
for unspecified years between 1882 and 1892 at the ancestry.com
website. (They did not identify the years.) They are as follows:

Page, Charles V. b. 5 Fruit, Laborer
Page, Charles V., 15 Exchange, b. 5 Fruit, hairdresser.
Page, Charles V., 13 1/2 Exchange, b. 5 Fruit, hairdresser.

The addresses on Exchange Street were his business addresses. 5 Fruit
Street was his father's address, and the "b" stands for "boards at,"
so he (and his family, depending on the years of the listings) were
living in the same house as his parents.

Charles was a barber in Bangor and Brewer, Maine, from at least 1892
until his death in 1928.
