Cambridge City Directories
From November 1895 until 1906, the family lived at 1 Broadway, Cambridge. In 1907 they were living at 249 Sixth St., Cambridge. In the 1907 Cambridge City Directory, 1 Broadway was vacant. In 1908 it was not listed. 1 Broadway, Cambridge, is now a commercial property, an office building. It is near the Charles River and MIT.

Regarding George W., Grace said: "He had epilepsy and took grand mal seizures. He could not work and went to pieces when his wife died."

-------------
Was George W. still alive in 1913? He is the informant on Maud's birth record, and the date of record was not until 17 Sept 1913. Also, Millicent's baby Charles died in October 1913 and was buried in her mother's grave in Cambridge Cemetery. George W. is the owner of this grave, according to cemetery records. Wouldn't Millicent need the permission of the owner of the grave to bury someone there? Or was she able to prove he had died and she was one of his heirs?

Is he one of these men:

Is he this man:

George Clark, died December 27, 1924, at Boston City Hospital of pneumonia, age 45?, buried February 26, 1925 in Mount Hope Cemetery.

There was no death notice found in the Boston Globe for this George Clark who died December 27, 1924. A cousin of one of George's descendants looked from December 27, 1924 through February 27, 1925.

From a reply to my inquiry on Rootschat.com: "I did a search of the Boston Herald & Boston Traveler between the date of death & burial and came up with nothing."

There are no other deaths that match him in Eastern Massachusetts up to 1940.
