Barbara Hynes, 20, housemaid, from Galway, headed to uncle Frank Hynes, 179 Java St, at Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY, carrying no money, had been in the US before, in 1899, apparently traveling by herself
[note: found this by searching at stevemorse.org for the ship, the Oceanic, and the arrival in April 1905. the index at familysearch says the ship arrived April 5, and is linked to the wrong ship and image.]
