BROOKLYN GIRL DROWNED AT ESSEX
ESSEX, Conn., May 20.--Miss Lucy Tarsney, of No. 289 Union avenue, Brooklyn, N. Y., was drowned last night in the Connecticut River, opposite the boat landing. While witnessing the departure of friends on the steamer Hartford, she stepped from the stringpiece of the wharf to the guard rail, and losing her balance fell into the water. Felix Tarsney, of New York, is here to institute a search for the body.
