Charles J Tarsney, of Flushing, formerly of Greenpoint, devoted father of Charles, John, Lucy Ferguson, Frances Scaturo and Patricia McKenna, devoted brother of Dr Francis Tarsney, also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral took place Friday from the Hugh a Reid Funeral home, 153 Greenpoint Ave at 9:30 AM. Solemn requiem mass in St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Flushing, at 10:30 AM and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Charles J Tarsney, a native of Greenpoint died November 20. He is survived by five children, Charles, John, Lucy Ferguson, Frances Scaturo and Patricia McKenna; a brother, Dr Francis Tarsney; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A requiem mass was offered last Friday in St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Flushing, Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, under the direction of Hugh a Reid Funeral home.
