==========
THE DEATH ROLL.
Mrs. Thomas McClelland

Emma, wife of Thomas McClelland, died at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at
her home in Elim, Upper Yoder Township, after an illness of three
months, of stomach trouble.

Mrs. McClelland was born at Wilmore thirty-six years ago and was a
daughter of James Hamilton, janitor of the Union Hall for a long time
before the Great Flood of 1889. Her mother died at Wilmore and her
father passed away in this city. Mrs. McClelland was a sister of Joseph
Hamilton, who succeeded his father as janitor of the hall and who died
in Pittsburg a few years ago; Mrs. David Lavely, of the South Side, and
Mrs. M. C. Edwards, of Altoona.

The deceased and Thomas McClelland were married in Johnstown in 1888 by
the late Reuben A. Fink. Mrs McClelland is survived by her
husband and three children--James, George, and Merrill.

The funeral will probably take place on Thursday afternoon, internment
to be made in Grand View Cemetery. Mrs. McClelland was a lifelong
member of the First Lutheran Church.
