Sarah Eleanor Kiel

Birth Name Sarah Eleanor Kiel
Gender female
Age at Death 79 years, 6 months, 8 days

Narrative

In the family Bible record, Sarah's name at birth appears to be "Sarah Elean Kiel", but there is enough space between "Elean" and "Kiel" for the letters "or". Her mother had a sister named Eleanor. This was pointed out to me by Eleanor Margaret Wicks in an email in Jan 2012. She comes from a long line of Eleanors and Margarets and suggested the correction.

In 1910 Sarah Gibbons is living in Pittsburgh with her sister Emma in the household of Emma's son-in-law, Frederick Spielman. Sarah's information says that she was a widow who had seven children and none of them were alive in 1910. Was this so? There are large gaps between the children listed on the census reports.
