December 21, 2003. Age 88. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betsy". Dear father of Joseph Sackerson (Michaelene) and Ellen VanOyen (Anthony). Grandfather of James M. (Gerri) and Christopher J. (Jennifer) Sackerson and John A. (Natalie), James J. (Kristine) and Joseph A. VanOyen. Brother of James C. Sackerson. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (btwn 13-14 Mile) Monday 4-8 p.m. with Rosary Monday 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday 1 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 32340 Pierce, Beverly Hills.
