The Newry Telegraph, Saturday, 7 May 1887. O’ROURKE, April 6th at Chicago, Henry O’Rourke, son of Francis O’Rourke PLG, Killowen and formerly of Carvill Bros, Newry. Deeply regretted by large circles of friends and here in America. RIP

note: a contributor to the County Down Genealogy site on Facebook.com explained that PLG stands for Poor Law Guardian, one of the group of people overseeing the local workhouse.
