in 1902 these went to James Rourke, but then later in 1902 to Patrick Sloane

This might be James entering the US. It fits with the evidence from the Valuation Revision Books, Book 4, 1899-1908, that James only rented his father's parcel for a brief time after his father's death. We know he was in Cleveland by 1910. It would be nice if the last residence was a bit more specific and the destination person and address were readable.
