Garczyk, John J. Jr., 75, of Maynard Rd., St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, January 18, 2010 in Wheeling Hospital.

He was born in Lafferty, Ohio on December 28, 1934, son of Teresa Klotz Garczyk and the late John J. Garczyk Sr.

John was a retired employee from International Harvester and a truck driver.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard; the Maynard PNA Club; the Fairpoint Polish Club; and was a volunteer firefighter with Maynard Community Vol. Fire Dept.. For over 50 years.

John is survived by his wife, Joanne C. Vicker Garczyk; his mother, Teresa Garczyk; two children, Sharon (Timothy) Perko of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Kenneth J. (Emily) Garczyk of Pleasant Grove, Ohio; three grandchildren, Chelsie Perko, Morgan E. Garczyk and Cameron Garczyk.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Wednesday from 1 to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 3 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Thomas Graven on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard.

Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
