Narrative

Mary Louisa's death record gives her parents' names as Elias Inman and Mary Inman, and two of Mary Louisa's children say that Mary Louisa's maiden name was Merrick. An Elias Inman, son of Joseph and Annabel (or Betsy?) (Page) Inman, married a Polly Merrick. Sources: death records from Maine Vital Records for Mary Louisa, Charles H., and Jeannette Dudley. In 1880 Mary Louisa, was living in Veazie with her daughter Josephine Clukey. In 1900 she was with her son, Joseph P. and his wife in Veazie. Mary Louisa died in 1901. She and her husband are both buried in Fairview Cemetery, Veazie.
