Narrative

Information passed down in the family, received April 2018, said that the Carrigans spent some time in Wales before they went to Preston, Lancashire. I haven't found James Carrigan in Wales in 1851, so they may not have been in Wales by then.

	Event Note May 2018, in the index to the Irish Catholic baptism registers at findmypast.ie, I looked for Jane/variations Gleason/variations, marrying anyone named James, anytime anywhere. There were four possibilities. But then I looked for James/variations Carrigan/variations marrying in the same exact year and place. There were none that matched any of the four found for Jane.
