abstract: Mrs Anastasia (Dwyer) O'Connor, widow of Thomas J. O'Connor. died last evening at 11:30 at the Woonsocket hospital where she had been taken early Monday morning.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Richard and Mary Dwyer of Blackstone, Lived all but a few years in Woonsocket. Married 1880 at St Paul's Church, Blackstone. Survived by seven of her nine children: Elizabeth of Washington, DC, Thomas, Mary, Dr. John V., Margaret, and Anna of Woonsocket, and Edwin, who has been serving with Battery B, 102 [or 103]d field artillery, ??Division, in France. Survived also by one brother John Dwyer, of Blackstone, Mrs. Mary Barry who resided with her, and two nuns of the order of the Sisters of Mercy: Sis. Mary Alyousis [sic] of Independence, Mo., and Sis. Mary Benita of Bridgeport, Conn. Funeral from her home 114 Second Ave Friday morning, 8:45. Mass at Sacret Heart church at 9. Interment in St. Charles' cemetery.
