BUFFALO, NY. (AP) — A 25-year old woman died Thursday night in Kenmore Mercy Hospital of injuries suffered in a traffic accident that killed her father. She was Mrs. Baretta Stanton of Buffalo. Her father. Earl Hamilton, 61, of Cleveland. Ohio, lost his life Sunday when an automobile in which he was riding struck a utility pole on a Buffalo street. Mrs. Stanton lived at 145 Potomac Ave. Hamilton’s home was at 3305 Clinton Ave.

Carl Earl Hamilton, 57, of 3305 Clinton Avenue, NW, who worked for The Plain Dealer. ...

Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Buffalo, N.Y, yesterday morning, police said.
His daughter, Mrs Baretta Stanton, 25, of Buffalo, whom he was visiting, was driving when the car skidded on a rain-slick street and crashed into a utility pole.
Mrs Stanton was in critical condition in Kenmore Mercy Hospital with broken legs, a broken pelvis and broken facial bones. Another passenger, Dale Smith, 21, of Buffalo, was in fair condition.
Hamilton, a member of Local 53, Cleveland Typographical Union, had worked as a Monotype caster operator at the Plain Dealer for eight years.

Mrs Baretta Stanton, 25, of 125 Potomac Ave., Buffalo, died last night in Kenmore Mercy Hospital of injuries suffered in an accident in Buffalo Sunday which killed her father, Earl Hamilton, 61, of Cleveland, Ohio.
