Joan Lair
Joan Lair, 75, died at her home in Denton, TX on August 14. Joan was born in Johnston, PA in 1934. She graduated from Mercy Hospital nursing school in 1955, and worked as a registered nurse until retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Florence Froggatt.
She is survived by her husband George Lair of Denton; three sons, Steven Miterko of Denton, Jeffrey Miterko of Highland Village, TX, and Scott Miterko of Denton; a stepdaughter, Brindle Lair of Dallas, TX; a sister, Barbara Phillips of Denton; three grandchildren, Zachary and Taylor Miterko of Highland Village and Jordon Miterko of Carlsbad, NM; and a niece, Jennifer Phillips of Denton.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Denton Funeral Home. A private family service will be held.

LAIR– Joan, 75, Denton, Texas, formerly of Portage, died Aug. 14, 2009, in Denton. Born in Johnstown, the daughter of James and Florence (Kiel) Froggatt. Preceded in death by parents, and first husband, Steve Miterko. She is survived by her husband, George Lair, Denton; and sons, Steven Miterko, Denton; Jeffrey Miterko, Highland Village, Texas; and Scott Miterko, Denton. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor and Jordon Miterko. Also survived by a stepdaughter, Brindle Lair, Dallas, Texas; sister, Barbara Phillips, Denton; and niece, Jennifer Phillips, Denton. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1955 and worked as a registered nurse until her retirement. Committal will be held in the family plot at St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Wilmore. Mark A. Serenko Funeral Home, Portage, is serving the family.
