Narrative

Jane Barclay Billups, age 60 and widowed, accompanied by her children Dorothy and Howard, both age 30 and single, are on the list of second cabin passengers bound for the United States aboard the Kensington, which left from Liverpool and arrived at Quebec, Canada, on 24 Aug 1907. They all British citizens who could read and write and were bound for Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Their professions/occupations/or callings were "lady, lady, and gentleman." They were evidently visiting Jane's son, Archibald, who is on the 1900 and 1910 Censuses of Lawrenceburg, Dearborn Co., Indiana.
