John Rourke's page in the first revision book

John Rourke, first revision book

Note: this is a work in progress and might be incomplete or inaccurate, or both.

Below are the Rourke families listed in the Valuation Revision Books, 1864 to 1933, in County Down, Barony of Iveagh Upper-Upper Half, Parish of Kilbroney, Union of Kilkeel, Electoral Division of Killowen, Townland of Ballintur. The images can be found at the Public Records of Northern Ireland (PRONI) website.

The entries in the Valuation Revision Books are in order of plot number. These are references to locations on an 1851(?) Ordnance Survey Map that is also referred to by Griffith's Valuation. The map is said to be online for a fee at www.origins.net and at findmypast.ie.  It may also be available at a good genealogy library.
