In the Name of God.
I John McVeigh of Dunavil Parish of Kilkeel, County of Down, Farmer, declare this to be my last will & testament.
I will & bequeath to my grandson James Doyle (who now lives with me) in the fullest manner I am able & without any restriction whatsoever all the property I am possessed of, houses, lands, & all other goods, & chattles (to be his at my death) for his sole use & benefit & to be disposed of as he may think fit.
And I will & devise that the said James Doyle my grandson or his heirs will give to the Priests (Roman Catholic) of this parish for the time being the sum of [Pounds] 15 stg [sterling?] for masses to be said or offered from time to time for the repose of the souls of the testator & his wife Mary & their son James.
And I hereby appoint Stephen McVeigh, Coal Merchant, Kilkeel, my executor of this my last will

Signed by the said testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses on this 12th day of June 1904
