The year of birth is only an average of her reported ages and years of birth on her records and her children's records. In 1900 she said she was born in May 1862. Her death record said she was born May 4, 1865.

She could not have been born in Canada, or Ireland for that matter, later than the late summer of 1862 if her parents had a child Catherine baptized 17 May 1863 in Kilkeel.

The immigration records for New York for that time period do not provide enough information to distinguish one Ann Sloan from another. There are no Canadian border crossing records for that era.
The Boston immigration records have a gap from 1874 to 1883. She is not in the Philadelphia immigration records.

Living at 1310 Broadway, Cleveland, at the birth of a daughter. This is about 4600 Broadway now.

Living at 238 Kinsman when their daughter Anna Ellen was born.
