Event Note
I have a feeling that these are the same two men throughout, but their first names were not always recorded correctly. Matt Sloan and Tom Murphy returned to Killowen at the same time, December 1883. Also, the 1884 Directory was valid from July 1883 to July 1884, so Matt could have returned to Ireland in December 1883 and still be listed in the 1884 book.
