My best guess for Selina's birth is about 1862 or 1863. She was married in 1882. The birth record for her daughter Annie in Chicago in 1888 says Selina was 27 at the time. Her death record says she was born August 15, 1866. Her 1900 Census information says she was born in December 1873 but had been married 18 years. Her 1910 and 1920 censuses would put her birth year about 1863 or 1864. And there is a Selina Kelly, age 21, who passes through Castle Garden in 1884 that may be her.
There may be a baptism record in Kilkee for her that would clear things up. The Civil Registration didn't start until 1864.

Salina Kelly, 26, Dec 1873?, 11 children, 8 alive, born in Illinois, parents born in Ireland, but says she arrived in 1883.
