Did he marry Catherine Allen and have a son Thomas 23 December 1866? [Kilbroney Catholic Parish Register]
He did not marry Catherine Sloan 24 December 1867 [Kilkeel Civil Parish Register index, 1st qtr 1868] and have a male child 10 April 1869? [Kilbroney Catholic Parish transcription]. That man was the son of Felix Rourke and Alice Cull, and was in Ballintur in 1901.
I didn't find a death found for him in Kilbroney Parish Register transcription or the Civil Records.
An article about the drowning accident that took Thomas' brother Richard's life in 1880 said that Richard was the sole support of his widowed mother. Had Thomas left Killowen by then, as had the youngest brother James? The article was written by Liam C Sloan, of Slieve Foy, Killowen, in 2007.
