Wm O'Rourke's house was and still is known as Bayview cottage. Wm’s family rented out Bayview and they converted Wm’s forge into a dwelling house. His son James lived with his family in the forge, his brother Frank lived in the little cottage behind Bayview. This cottage may have been the one the McAteers lived in.

Birth | 1814 | County Down, Ireland | 1a 2a | |
Event Note
Her age at death is probably closer to the truth than her age on the 1901 census, based on the years that she had children. Her husband's age at death in 1873 was given as 53, so Anne may be younger, or Owen's information at death is incorrect. They married in 1843. |

1906 8B John Curran from Daniel Murray, land I don't know who the Owen Rourke is who rented a house and small garden from Anne Rourke from 1879 to 1883. The Thomas Rourke who rented a house and small garden from Anne Rourke from 1884 to 1889 might be her brother in law. I don't know where Anne was living while she was renting out two houses from 1879 to 1889. Her daughter Mary was "of Ballyneddan" in January 1881 when she married John Curran.
