Note
Henry O'Rourke, 19, British citizen, Irish nationality, last residence: Rostrevor, Ireland. contact person in Ireland: Uncle Mr Byrne, Ballinavally , Killowell [sic], County Down. Destination: brother James O'Rourke, Colony Farm, Warrensville, Cleveland, Ohio, paid for his passage himself, carrying $47, 5'10", fair complexion and hair, blue eyes, born in Rostrevor I think there are a few things wrong with this information as recorded. Ballinavally is probably Ballindoalty, where Henry was living with Bernard Byrne on April 2, 1911. His destination was his father James, not a brother. James was in the Cleveland Infirmary in 1910 and died there in 1917. It was also known as Colony Farm. |
