I am including Thomas Cunningham as a probable son of this family. There is a baptism record for Thomas, son of James Cunningham and Cath Doran?/Divine?Feran/ that fits his age on later records. His first child was born in James' home. All but one of his children were born in Ballygowan. He took over James' farm in Ballygowan in 1885.
There is even a marriage for Thomas C. and Maria C., both "of Ballygowan", although it is earlier than expected given the births of known children on the records.
If Thomas is their son, did they have a son named James? Was he born after Ann? See the notes for James, son in this family.

Griffith's Valuation and Valuation Revision Books for Ballygowan Thomas lived in Ballygowan his whole life. His first child was born there in 1873. Unless he was living in Benagh in 1883 when his son Thomas was born. But I didn't find him on the Valuation Revision Books in Benagh for that time period. |
