Her death record and that of her daughter both said Sarah was born in London, England. The informant on hers was her son in law, Arthur Meador, presumably the informant for his wife's also.

Her 1920 census information says her parents were both born in Germany. It says she arrived in 1892 but was naturalized in 1876. Did she misunderstand the second question and give her birth year instead?

I think the information on Eva's line about her parents' birthplaces is switched around in error.

The man listed above Robert was James J McNulty, 37, single, born in Illinois, parents in Ireland, showman, circus, an employer. He died 24 Jul 1922, Chicago. buried Mt Olivet. occ: Circus manager. father: Hugh McNulty, b. Ireland. some info in Circus history links on Google]

There was also a Gordon R Harlan in the hotel, 29, a treasurer for a theatre. His mother was housekeeper for the hotel.
