Events

Event Date Place Description Sources
Birth February 4, 1873 Conagher Townland, Dunmore Civil Parish, County Galway, Ireland   1a
Event Note

This is the civil registration of Patrick's birth. When he registered for the draft in 1918 in the US, he said he was born February 4, 1873. He may have been. Sometimes people registered their children's births late and, to avoid a fine, gave a later date of birth to the registrar.

Death
Event Note

Patrick died in "Puttney" according to the Kevin Fairley Family Tree at ancestry.com. Putney was a ward in the Parliamentary Borough of Wandsworth, London, England. Tooting ward was in the same Borough. Patrick's brother John Joseph lived in Tooting for a while, at least from 1909 to 1911. John's wife was from there.

I didn't find an index to a death record for Patrick in Wandsworth District at gro.gov.uk, but that doesn't mean it isn't there.
