I did not find Nicola Guarnieri or his father Antonio in the Akron City Directory for 1859, 1868, 1870, 1873/74, 1875/76, 1879/80, 1882/83, 1883/84, 1885, 1885/86, 1886/87, 1887/88, 1888/89.
They are not in the Cleveland City Directory for 1880. They are on the census in South Newburgh. Newburgh was not included in the Cleveland Directory.

First item: desires all debts to be paid

Second Item: To my wife Louisa I device for the term of her natural life one third of my property known as No. 8915 Broadway, Cleveland, Ohio, and which is now occupied by C A Henderson, also for the term of her natural life one third of my cutain [?] tract of three and three quarters acres of land located on the easterly side of McCracken Road in South Newburgh, Ohio, also one third absolutely of all the rest and residue of all my proberty of all kinds and descriptions. This provision is made to her in lieu of her dower and distributive share in my estate under the laws of Ohio and also in lieu of her years support.

Third item: To my daughters Mary Rosasco, Victoria Masoni, and Jennie Gardilla, I bequeath three thousand dollars ($3000.00) each.

Fourth item: On the death of my wife Louisa, I direct that the property at No 8915 Broadway and the three and three quarters acres on McCracken Road to be sold and the proceeds divided as follows:

If my said wife shall so leave her property that my son Nicola shal not share equally with his brothers in her estate then said proceeds shall be so distributed that my son Nicola shall receive from my estate and my wife's estate an aggregate sum equal to the aggregate sum received by each of his brothers [?] in my estate and my wife's estate, it being my wish that my four sons shall ultimately share equally in all property left by me and my wife. All the rest and residue of my property of all kinds and descriptions I direct and bequeath share and share alike to my four sons, Nicola, Anthony, James and Louis, to them and their heirs and ...? forever.

I hearby nominate and appoint my sons Nicola and Anthony as executors.

When he applied for a passport in 1913, Nicholas said he arrived in the US on or about Sep 18, 1859. When he was naturalized in 1884, he said he arrived in October 1860.
I looked through all New York Arrivals in October 1860 and from September 17, 1859 to September 30, 1859, and did not find him.
I looked at the Baltimore arrivals in the last half of September 1859 into the 1st week of October 1859 and did not find him.
