Veazie - Ethel M Bell Berce, 93, died December 7, 1985, at a local hospital. She was born in Bangor October 6, 1892, the daughter of Percy and Josephine (Thompson) Page. She had been a practical nurse in the greater Bangor area and was a member of Norombega Rebekah Lodge, the Queen City Grange, Ladies Auxiliary of the United Transportation Union, and an honorary and 40 year member of Veazie American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are three sons: Hartley J Bell of Bangor, Gerald W Bell of Brewer, and George R Bell of Veazie; three daughters: Elvenia Magee of Orono, Virginia Wotton of Titusville, Fla, and Audrey M Vlaming of Tacoma, Wash.; a devoted grandson: Alvin R Myers of Veazie, other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Tuesday at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St, Bangor, with Jerry Maske, pastor of the Veazie Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. ...
