Narrative

Information for "Percival J." and "Joseph P." Page indicate they are
the same person. Both are carpenters and both were born in March 1869.
Both have daughters named Mary born about 1895 or 1896. The death
record for Joseph P. Page gives his spouse's name as Evvie, which is
the same as the information in the city directory listings for Percy
J.[9]

In the 1897 Bangor City Directory, Percival J. Page, carpenter, was at
19 Fruit Street. In 1899 he is at 29 Fruit Street. His parents were
living at 29 Fruit Street at the time. In the 1903, 1905, and 1907
Bangor city directories, he has a home on Fern St., Stillwater Pk, RFD
7. By 1909 he had removed to Veazie. (This may be the time of their
divorce.)

In 1910, Joseph P. Page was in his brother Oscar's household in
Brewer. His marital status was unclear, the information said "0".
Mary E., listed on the next line, is his daughter. In the 1910 Bangor
City Directory, there is also a listing at 90 Sidney, for a Joseph
Page, employee of Maine Central RR. On the 1920 census, he was
divorced, his daughter was not with him, and he was boarding in the
first ward of Bangor. I have not found him in 1930. I did not find
his first wife and daughters in 1910 in a quick look at HeritageQuest,
using only exact "Page" and first names.

In 1932 Percy J. and his second wife Evvie were living at 7 Hazel St.,
Bangor, according to the city directory images at ancestry.com.

When he died in 1944 in Bangor his death record gave the name of his
spouse as Evie D. Page, age 59, and the record said he was a lifelong
resident of that city. In 1945, Evvie M Page, widow of J. Percy was
listed at 11 Pine St., Bangor.
