Declaration of Intention, Hugh Donahoe

To the Honourable Thomas White and his [... ] holding a Court of Common Pleas in and for the County of Indiana
The declaration of Hugh Donahoe upon oath he presents that he was born in the County of Tyrone in Ireland whence he migrated in the year eighteen hundred and eighteen and landed in the United States the same year. That it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign power, state or sovereignty whatever and particularly to Queen Victoria whose subject he has heretofore been.
