Event Note
If I have the right family in the 1830 census, then Catherine McClintock was born between 1811 and 1815, likely close to 1811. Their oldest known son, Leckey Murray Service, was born in 1819 according to most of his information. |

Event Note
I am pretty sure that this is John Service and his family. Dr Leckey Caldwell Murray came from Lancaster County, PA, to Cross Creek Township, Washington County, in 1820 and practiced medicine there until his death. A tree at ancestry says he died in 1828. John Service named his first son Leckey Murray Service. Cross Creek Township borders Hopewell Township.

Narrative |
Son John P Service's place in this family is based on his being buried in the same plot as Ralph McClintock. Leckey Service assessed Ralph's estate when he died and then took Ralph's widow Eliza into his household. I think Ralph might be Leckey's maternal uncle. |
