All his information, except his 1880 Census, said Leckey Service was born in Pennsylvania.
His death certificate index information said he was 68y 6m, or born about Aug 25, 1819.
His son Charles' death certificate (22 June 1942, Philadelphia) said both of Charles' parents were born in Westmoreland County, PA.

Dr L M Service, a well-known physician with an extensive practice in Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware counties, died on Monday at his residence, Belmont, near City Avenue, at the age of 68 years.

She says he was a resident of Philadelphia County and died at Belmont Avenue and Montgomery Avenue in Philadelphia County on Monday 27 February 1888 at 8:00 AM. He possessed personal property to the value of $1000 to $5000 and real estate (less encumbrance) to the value of $10,000 to 30,000.
