Ohio Families

On her re-entry to the US on Oct 22, 1909, Helene said that she had been in the US before, in Cleveland, from 1902 to 1909. On this 1909 trip she arrived on the President Lincoln which had left from Hamburg. She was 19 and single, traveling with her sister Maria, age 23 and single. Maria had been in the US from 1904 to 1909.

Both were working as maids, and their last permanent residence was Cleveland. Their nationality was Austrian, and their nearest relative in Austria was their father Jakob Schleimer, living in Kerndorf - Krain.

They had paid for the trip themselves, and had yet to purchase a ticket to Cleveland. Both were carrrying $35. Their destination was the home of their brother-in-law, Anton Fink, 7202 Felbert Ave., Cleveland.

They were both born in Kerndorf, Austria. Helene was 4 ft 9 in, blond hair, blue eyes. Maria was 5 ft 2 in, blond hair, blue eyes. Neither had any distinguishing marks or disabilities.
