Narrative
Susan (Brennan) McGee was a regular member of her husband's household in 1940, but was temporarily absent from that household when the census was taken as of April 1, 1940. Her nephew, John Brennan, was also temporarily absent from his household for this census. Had they gone back to Ireland for some reason?

General
Susan Brennan was very likely born about 1874. She gave her own age when naturalized in 1937 as being 63. When her husband provided the information for the 1940 Census, on April 1, he said she was 64. I didn't find a baptism record for Susan in the Kilbroney Parish Registers at nli.ie. There is a gap in the children between the second Bridget, baptized May 5, 1871, and John, baptized January 30, 1877. |
