In an abstract of Rhoda's father Ezra Davis Jr's pension file, it says that Rhoda was born 'a few miles from what is now Bangor'.
Genealogical Abstracts of Revolutionary War Pension Files, Virgil D.White (Waynesboro TN: National Historical Publishing Co., 1990), p 894.

---------
Rhoda's 1860 census says she was born in 1787.

-----------
There is this birth record for Rhoda Davis, but I really think she was born where her father said she was on his pension application, namely Conduskeag Plantation, on the Penobscot River near Bangor, where he was living in 1790.
