Narrative
On 4 Jan 1777, Ezra Davis (Jr) was listed among the male inhabitants of Pittston (then Gardinerstown), along with his father and brother Joseph.[12] He served in the Revolution (in Captain Oliver Colburn's company of minutemen)[13] and filed an application for a pension on 30 Mar 1818 at Pittston at the age of 62.
He and his wife were married in what is now Castine in 1780,[14] and by 1786 they were living along the Penobscot.[15] Ezra is on the 1790 Census of Conduskeag Plantation.[16] He returned to Pittston by 1800.[17]
