Abigail Ayers

Birth Name Abigail Ayers
Gender female
Age at Death unknown

Narrative

In 1835 Ezra's widow Abigail was living in Ellsworth when she received a grant of land for his war service.[18] In 1841 she was residing in Newburg when she applied (for widow's benefits?) on 25 Feb 1841 in Penobscot City. At that time the information said she was 89. This age is probably not correct if she had a daughter born in 1805.[19]

The pension application also quotes her daughter Rhoda (Davis) Inman as saying that she had a brother who moved to Ohio and two sisters in Maine.
