From Mary Jane Mains, compiler, Newspaper Accounts of Births, Marriages and Deaths, 1808-1929 (not all inclusive), Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (Greensburg: Westmoreland County Historical Society, 1994: PIGMAN, Cecilia nee MORRIS a resident of Wheeling d Tues. Nov. 6 while on her way to this city with her 5 children (4 were boys), accompanying her mother Mrs. Craig to her residence at Greensburg. She was a widow & was interred in Greensburg (11-14-1866 RD) M. Cecilia w/o late Nathaniel & d/o late Daniel C. Morris of Greensburg; she d on board the steamer of Bayard nr. Rochester, Pa. aged 34 yrs. 10 mo. 14 days. Remains were taken to Cumberland, Md. for interment (11-28-1866 RD) |
