Narrative

According to the person whom I emailed about the Crums in Frederick Md, one set of Evan Crum's paternal great grandparents are:
Willem Krom + Wyntje Roosa. They married in Kingston, Ulster County NY in 1699.

If that is true, and if the next tree is correct, then the Crums are related through Wyntje Roosa to Franklin Delano and Theodore Roosevelt.

The witnesses to the marriage were John Crum and Nicol Hertzog. (Source: October 2014, correspondence with the owner of the Fry Family Tree at ancesty.com, http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/45138545/person/6905767454?ssrc=&ml_rpos=2.)

I wonder if the witnesses were the father of the groom and the father of the bride.
